Mark Kennedy (drums)
Mark began playing drums when he was twelve years old although he remembers pounding on pots and pans at a much earlier age. During his pots and pans stage his mom realized he was trying to pound out the sounds and rhythms that were continuously emanating in his head. As a kid Mark ran lights and pyrotechnics for a couple of local bands which helped him learn the ins and outs of being in a band.
Realizing that being on stage was necessary to calm the "noise" in his head, he started playing in a bunch of different types of bands from Rock-a-Billy, Country, Blues, and Jazz, to Big Hair Metal Bands. In 2000 Mark got a job at a local music store giving him a chance to get involved with a whole new group of musicians and opportunities to show his true self. Then in 2003 the message to call Kurt was passed to him and another chapter was started.
