Kurt Schuldes (guitar)

Kurt Schuldes started playing guitar at age 12 and got in his first band at age 16 with neighborhood friends John Larson on guitar and Beth Temte on lead vocals. During those early years he took guitar lessons from his mentor George McCune and to this day still emulates some of George's style. Kurt was also heavily influenced by other guitarists of that period such as Jimi Hendrix, Ronnie Montrose, Eddie Van Halen, and Buck Dharma of Blue Oyster Cult.

He played in various bands until age 25 and took an extended period of time off from the band scene until 2003 when The Remainders were formed. In The Remainders Kurt hooked up with childhood friend Ed Overholt and also Andy Temte who was a fellow band member from years ago.
